Understanding Perimenopause and Menopause
Some women breeze right through menopause, while others unfortunately struggle tremendously.

Perimenopause:

The transitional phase before menopause. Perimenopause may begin as early as your mid-30’s or as late as your mid-50’s. This can last up to a few months, or for some people, several years.

Your menstrual cycles often become unpredictable at this stage. Often women experience weight gain, anxiety, joint pain, low sex drive, fatigue, brain fog, thinning of the hair and skin, and many other worrisome symptoms.

Perimenopause and menopause are natural life transitions but that doesn’t mean they have to be intolerable.
How the Hormone Replacement Process Works
Initial Consultation
Schedule an initial consultation with our nurse practitioner for $50, applied to your $250 consultation fee, including a follow-up to review lab results and personalize your treatment plan.
1.
Lab Orders
Following your consultation, you’ll be provided with lab orders to assess your current health status. These lab results help us personalize your treatment plan. If you have recent lab results from the past six months, they may be used.
2.
Personalized Plan
During your consultation, we will review your lab results and discuss your medical history. This thorough evaluation helps determine if our medical weight loss program is right for you and which medication will be most effective.
3.
Receive Medication
Your medication and supplies will be conveniently mailed to your home from one of our trusted compounding pharmacies. You may also choose a local compounding or retail pharmacy if preferred.
4.
Consultation Day:
During your initial 60-minute consultation, we will perform a comprehensive physical exam, review past medical history, review risks/benefits of BHRT, and order lab testing relevant to your symptoms. This thorough evaluation helps us to determine if our hormone replacement program is suitable for you.
Continuing to Monitor
If you decide to proceed with BHRT treatment, you will have lab work every 2-3 months until your levels are optimized, then every 6-12 months thereafter.

By following these steps, you are on your way to achieving your optimized hormone goals with the guidance and support of our specialized medical team. We are committed to providing you with a supportive, health-centered approach that considers your overall wellbeing.
